 Police have arrested a man from Burdwan city for his involvement in seizing Tk 10 lakh by assuring him to be sent abroad.  The name of the victim is Swapan Mia Sheikh. His home is on Parkas Road in Burdwan city. He was arrested from home on Sunday afternoon. The victim was submitted to the Burdwan CJM court on Monday. Investigating Officer Sandeep Bhagwan Fund appealed to the seven -day transit remand to take him to Maharashtra, taking the custody of the victim in custody in need of investigation. CJM Binod Mahat granted that application. CJM has directed the investigating officer to submit the report to the CJM court in Mumbai. According to police and court sources, Mohammad Yasik and Mohammad Siddique, a resident of Girdhari Singh Field in Lakhnaur, Uttar Pradesh, filed a complaint with the Dongri police station in 2023.  On the basis of the complaint, the police station filed a case under fake documents.
